How long does it take to transfer my domain   PDF  Print  E-mail
This depends entirely on the domain registrar. If your domain is registered through Network Solutions, your Administrative or Technical contact will need to reply to the e-mail sent from Network Solutions, approving the transfer of the domain name.Once Network Solutions receives the reply they will normally make the change within 24-72 hours. If your domain is registered through OpenSRS or another registrar which uses login/password authentication to manage your domain, you will be able to submit the the change directly to their database. Please note that in either case propagation of the change to nameservers throughout the world/Internet generally takes an additional 24-72 hours.
